Boevers Elementary: What a great night at our Shake, Rattle and Roll Family Literacy Event!

The Union PTA Council invites the Union familiy to Union Movie Night this Friday, March 27 at Union Tuttle Field. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the movie, "How To Train Your Dragon" starts at sunset.

The Union PTA Council is thrilled to announce the return of the district-wide chess tournament! Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 28 at the Freshman Academy. (Note: the venue has been changed.)

The Union PTA Council invites families to participate in MarchDadness, a free-throw competition and community fair this Thursday, March 26 at the UMAC. Sign-ups start at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to the free-throw competiton, families are encouraged to check out the home, health and safety vendors at the UMAC. Community vendors will provide information on home, health and safety resources. There will also be giveaways and prizes.

Union's summer break camp for Union students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade will be June 1-July 31 at Grove Elementary, 10202 E. 62nd St., from 6:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.

As a reward for reading more than 5,000 books during Boevers Elementary's reading challenge last week, students had fun this afternoon turning Principal Dr. Leeedy Smith into a human sundae on the school's playground.
